What are the types of disease ?

IBS is classified into three subtypes based on bowel habits:

• IBS-C: Constipation-predominant IBS
• IBS-D: Diarrhea-predominant IBS
• IBS-M: Mixed IBS (alternating constipation and diarrhea)
